DESCRIPTION The DAC650 is a high performance 12-bit digital toanalog converter for high frequency waveform generation, It is complete with an internal low drift reference and edge-triggered data latch, The internal segmentation and latching provide for minimal outputglitch energy. The ECL compatibility provides for low digital noiseat high update rates. The 5092 output resistance andlow output capacitance simplify transmission line design and filtering at the output. Complementary outputs are offered for increased performance while driy-ing transformers or differential amplifiers. The DAC650 combines precision thin flm and bipolartechnology with high speed gallium arsenide to createa high performance, cost effective solution for modernwaveform synthesis systems.
